My name is Kiyonia & I’m from Florence, SC. I’m a retired army veteran. I served in the US Army for 6 years as a Culinary Specialist (92g). I now reside in Fort Lauderdale, FL as a Certified Chef. I graduated from both McFatter Technical College & Broward College. I now have a degree in Culinary Management. Baking is my passion. I was inspired to bake by my lovely mother at the age of 8. I started my business by making birthday cakes for my friends and eventually decided to brand my craft. “Kakes By Kiy” was established in 2018, while I was stationed in Colorado Springs, CO.
